Configuring document types

Document types define the required pieces and the data the AI must extract from them.

Audience · Administrators /config/document-types

A document type describes one piece of the CEE dossier: quote, invoice, sworn statement, energy audit, installation photo… For each, iverif knows which data the AI must read (the “fields”): date, amount, area, product reference, mandatory mentions.

The page lists types by category — commercial, legal, administrative, technical, photos — each with its extracted-field count. “System” types are provided by iverif and aligned with official fiches; you can create custom types for pieces specific to your organisation.

A document type used by a process cannot be deleted: the application blocks deletion to protect the consistency of fiches referencing it.

Types are grouped in categories (commercial, legal, administrative, technical, photos) and show how many fields the AI extracts from them.

Steps

  1. Open Configuration → Document typesThe full list, grouped by category, appears.
  2. Examine a typeOpen it to see the fields the AI extracts: this is where analysis depth is tuned.
  3. Create a custom typeFor a piece specific to your organisation, define its name, category and fields to extract.
  4. Respect dependenciesIf deletion is refused, processes are using that type: edit the affected processes first.
